Time to think: ✿ Halloween wallpaper (part 2)

BACKGROUND
1. File > place

2. choose the file to place

3. select blend mode(SHIFT+ALT+Y) (luminosity) & opacity (92%) > select curves in the red circle > press ALT + click the line diving 2 layers(CTRL+SHIFT+G)(create a clipping mask) an arrow will shown in the red circle

4. file > place > choose file to place it > place at the position I want

5 . edit > transform > scale > resize the haunted house

6. choose blend mode(SHIFT+ALT+Z) (pin light)

7. select the brightness/contrast layer in the red circle

8. press ALT + click the line diving 2 layers(CTRL+SHIFT+G)(create a clipping mask) an arrow will be shown > adjust the brightness (-15) & contrast (49) by dragging the little slider

9. layer > layer mask > hide all

10. select dodge tool(O) > paint over the area I place it until the haunted house appear

11. haunted house appear

TEXT

12. select horizontal type tool(T) in the small red circle > choose foreground colour(white) in the big red circle > select font(berylium) & size(60) > type HAPPY

13. select horizontal type tool(T) > choose foreground colour(white) > select font(berylium) & size(120) > type HALLOWEEN > place both of the text in a nice position

14. hold ctrl & click on both of the text layer > right click > rasterize type

15. select smudge tool > mode(normal)> strength (50%)>select halloween layer > drag the text

16. result of using smudge tool

17. hold ctrl + left click on the halloween text layer ( a selection will appear )> select new fill /adjustments layer in the red circle > select colour balance

18. adjust the colour balance of cyan.magenta & yellow of 3 tones (shadows,midtones,highlights) by dragging the slider

19. select horizontal type tool(T) > choose foreground colour(black)> same size+ type> place it over the first "halloween" text

20. select blend mode(SHIFT+ALT+H) (hard mix)

21. double click on the "happy" text layer > styles ( outer glow) > structure mode(screen) ,opacity(75%) & colour (green) > gradient editor (location 56)(green colour)

BLACK CAT

22. file > place > choose file > resize it & place at the position I want > rename the layer (black cat)

23. move the black cat layer to below of the "happy" text layer (so the cat show behind of the text) > layer > layer mask > hide all

24. select dodge tool (O)>set the diameter of the brush(32)(ALT+right click+drag) >range(shadow) >exposure(100%)> paint over the area I placed it until the black cat appear

JACK O LANTERN

25. file > place > choose file > place the bat-jack o lantern

26. rename the layer (bat-jack o lantern) by double click on it > drag the layer above the black cat layer >layer > layer mask> hide all

27. select dodge tool & burn tool(O) > set the size of brush (27)(ALT+right click+drag), range (shadows),exposure(100%) > paint over the area I placed it until the bat-jack o lantern appear

SCARY EFFECT & TEXT EFFECT

28. file > place > place the cracking painted picture > resize & rotate it

29. select blend mode (SHIFT+ALT+O)(overlay)

30. edit > transform> warp

31. drag the points & adjust it until fix to the face

32. layer > layer mask > hide all

33.select dodge tool (O) [brush (38),range (shadows),exposure(75%)] & burn tool(O) > paint over the face until the cracking part appear

34. select sharpen tool ( to sharpen cracking parts ) & blur tool (to blur cracking parts) > click over the cracking parts

35. select burn tool layer > select erase tool(E) > set brush (26)(ALT+right click+drag),opacity (57%) mode(brush) > erase some parts of the face which in the red circle

36. select the cracking paint layer > rename it (cracking paint)

37. select Halloween text layer >right click> select duplicate layer

38. hold ctrl +left click over the layer (a selection on the text will shown) > rename the layer(halloween 1)

39. edit > transforms > flip vertical

40. filter >blur> gaussian blur

41. adjust the radius of gaussian blur (1.1 pixels) by dragging the slider

42. select halloween 1 layer > click add vector mask (in the red circle)

43. make sure foreground is black in colour> select gradient tool(G) > hold shift + hold left click & drag it straight down till reach the position I want then release it ( a straight line will shown)
